There had been reports in the media, about certain mysterious energy emissions like X rays from persons who had fractures in the lower part of spinal column, resulted by accidents. It can be explained that, in this state the inlet for background radiations (intervertabral gaps) in this part is enlarged and very high quantity of radiations are absorbed to the C.N.S. Consequently these radiations are emitted from his/her body.
Bald head is considered to be related to the male hormone-testosterone alone. But this hormone is only a partial reason for this phenomenon. Another reason is the emission of radiations from the brain (absorbed by Filum terminale) passing through the skull. Various patterns of bald heads such as 'U' shaped 'O' shaped etc result because it is through these parts ( U or O ^shaped ) radiations are emitted from brain.
When faced with intense sorrow and stress every person does sigh (take deep breath). This helps to absorb more radiations because the process of deep breathing enlarges the inlet of vital radiations (intervertebral gaps) It is these radiations (which moves very fast) that gives sudden relaxation through the instant stimulation of nervous systems including brain and spinal cord. Oxygen intake and carbon dioxide removal have comparatively less role in this process.
When we are sitting in a chair and engaging in heated arguments and verbal exchanges we instinctively change into cross-legged position. This posture helps to absorb more radiations, which enhances the capacity of our brain by stimulating it. Some persons, who are more energetic, sit in this position most of the time.
At night the radiations from sun is not available hence less vital radiations reach C.N.S. and the internal systems including digestive system. This fact explains why food consumed after evening takes more time to get digested.
When one is compelled to stand for long time he become more tired, compared to sitting or walking. When one stands, the spinal column is compressed and thus the intervertabral gaps are reduced. This leads to reduced intake of radiations or prana. hence the tiredness.
When cadets stand with legs apart, at intervals among drills, they absorb more vital forces through the comparatively more enlarged intervertebral gaps in the lower part of spinal column and thus overcome tiredness.
Persons who are very tired usually lie turned to one side, bending the thighs towards abdomen. This position also helps in absorbing more prana in the same manner.
In a study conducted by psychologists at Tromso University it was proved that intellectual faculty, memory etc.are inproved in cold climate. Coolness enhances the capacity of C. N. S. to absorb more radiations or prana, which become instrumental in the improvement of mental faculties.
As explained earlier, comparatively low quantity of prana is present in the left hemisphere of brain (a portion of radiations goes to heart from left hemisphere). This condition enables the left hemisphere to control the right hand, which undertakes works that are to be done with subtle coordination of nerves and muscles (please remember the fact that left hemisphere of brain controls the right side of body, generally).
Spinal bath in Naturopathy make the spinal cord- cool and thus enable it to absorb more prana which become instrumental in speeding up of the healing process. Applying oil to the head and bathing in cool water (necessary in tropical climate) also enable the C. N. S. to absorb more radiations or prana.
When ionizing radiations are blocked and electrical activity increase in certain parts of brain; smells, sounds, visions etc are-experienced (It is proved that if these parts are electrically stimulated through electrodes the same phenomena occurs). Prana are blocked there because of impurities, hyper density etc in those parts. These can be removed by proper methods of Nadishodana Pranayama (Cleansing of nervous system through regulation of prana). It can be understood that the experience of sound, smell etc (at the time of meditation) are passing phases before reaching the state of perfection where the C. N. S. will be in pure state in which condition there will be no experience of sound, smell or vision in the time of meditation. Gurus always ask their disciples to continue practice as prescribed by them, ignoring such experiences.
