Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is considered to be a fatal disease attacking human beings. Modern medical system is of the opinion that a virus called Human Immuno Deficiency Virus is the original cause of this condition. They think that this same virus is not much harmful to animals such as monkeys. They also think that no medicine will be capable for destroying this virus. A vaccine against this virus shall be invented by 2025- they promise!
But the latest developments in the research on this disease lead to optimism on finding a treatment protocol based on traditional wisdom. [CD4 count was increased and viral load decreased by administration of Ayurvedic medicine to these patients. (Study conducted by Amala Medical Center in collaboration with Christian Medical College Vellore and MGR Medical University India)].
In the research works conducted at Nigeria and Thailand it was proved that patients consuming more nutritious food have more resistance power against the H.LViruses (paper presented at Indian Science Congress 2006 by Delegates from National Institute on Nutrition- India). Here it is note worthy that there are allegations on the enormous numbers of deaths in Africa and Asia caused by starvation and mal nutrition which are wrongly attributed to AIDS.
Studies conducted at Zimbabwe by the researchers from Welcome Trust have disproved the assumptions of 'International H.I.V. Community' that survival from birth to adolescence, of the children born with H.I.V. (without treatment) is unlikely. (Rashida Ferranda ETAL- 'Clinical Infectious diseases journal' quoted in- 'The Hindu'-15 march 2007.)
Let us examine the basic dynamism of this syndrome. Impurities and metabolic wastes created by impure food and beverages combined with under nourishment, lack of nutritions and less availability of vital radiations make the blood and internal organs of a person, a good medium for the viruses to survive and multiply. It shall be possible to reverse the process by giving pure nutritious and balanced food materials, (preferably organic), pure water and also providing unpolluted air and hygienic environment. Foodstuffs creating more metabolic wastes and impurities such as beef, pork, stale food, food containing chemical impurities (preservatives, artificial colours, flavours, tastes) etc. should be avoided. Herbal medicines such as turmeric, cumin, coriander, mustard seeds, curry leaf, holybasil (ocimum santum), nutmeg, cardamom seed, garlic, Indian gooseberry, (emblica officinalis) clove, fenugreek seeds (Trigonella foe-num), organic tea, organic coffee, ginger, thyme, sage tea, natural asafoetida, cinnamon and pepper which can counter the viruses should be given either as medicine or with food. Suitable physical exercises also should be maintained at optimum level. Life style modification such as stopping of smoking etc., celibacy (up to full recovery) also shall be beneficial. Mind should be filled with hope about victory over disease; instead of despair and surrendering to the disease. Meditation, Prayer, Nadishodhana Pranayama (cleansing nervous system through regulation of vital radiations) shall increase the psycho-neuro immunity which also will facilitate the defeat of the virus. Such a multifaceted approach can annihilate the whole of H. I. Virus, even though it try to 'hide'! in the brain or some other parts of the body. Secondary or opportunistic infections of other viruses and bacteria also can be countered by this method. 3 months, 6 months and one year after this intervention the of H. L V- presence should be examined by P24 antigen test, polymerase chain reaction (P.C.R.) test and H. I. V culture test. We cannot depend on antibody tests such as ELISA and western blot alone because antibodies may be present even after all of the viruses are annihilated.
The health authorities of Kerala (India) are reluctant to conduct a similar study (clinical trial on the effectiveness of Ayurvedic medicines in H.I.V positives), even though the Honourable High Court of Kerala had ordered in this effect, in the year 2003. Some activists in this field are of opinion that this is because of the evil influence of multinational monopolies manufacturing and marketing Anti Ritroviral Therapy (ART) drugs which were developed for Chemotherapy to the Cancer patients.
(Mr. Joji - Madhyamam Daily 25-09-2007)
A request to the political, administrative and health authorities of Asian, African and Latin American countries;- A considerable portion H.I.V, A.I.D.S is spread through blood transfusion. Antibody tests (ELISA and western blot) of blood donors, are not dependable because in the initial stages of infection (window period) no antibody of the virus shall be present in the blood even though the viruses are present. Therefore in every blood banks and blood transfusion centers the facilities for more dependable tests such as P24 antigen and H. I. V. culture should be installed immediately. The expenditure for installing these facilities shall be lesser than the huge compensations you will have to pay to the victims infected by H. I. V. through unsafe blood transfusions in the future. All persons should remember that "the absence of antibody shall not always be evidence for the absence of virus; and presence of antibody shall not always be the evidence for the presence of virus." About 2.5 million (2,50,0000) persons are estimated to have become HIV infected directly through blood transfusions. (More millions may have been infected from these persons.)
Please remember the incidents in Lima (Peru) which led to the closing down of all blood banks following contracting of HTV for many persons after receiving blood transfusions.
It is unfortunate that the International and National Organizations in Asia, Africa and Latin America who are supposed to be responsible for controlling A.I.D.S are not insisting on compulsory blood testing utilizing P24 antigen test to make blood transfusions more safe against H.I.V.
It is reported that some officials of State AIDS
Control Organization of Kerala (India) had argued against more dependable tests because it was "more expensive". (THE HINDU)

We cannot ignore the apprehensions of activists about the potential HIV infection to 100 young healthy Indian women through a ‘Clinical trial’ to verify the efficacy of a new ‘vaginal microbicide’ against H.I.V
