According to modem medical science some unknown reasons lead to the degeneration of Substantia Nigra (of the brain) in some persons. This causes reduction in the synthesis and release of dopamine. Inadequate presence of dopamine lead neurons in sub thalamic nucleus and globus pallidus to act abnormally and thus uncontrollable tremor is occurred. Degeneration of neurons in Substantia Nigra shall be the combined effect of impurities (accumulated from food, water and air) and the inadequate availability of radiations (prana) absorbed to C.N.S. Progress of this disease can be arrested by proper regulation of diet, lifestyle modification and cleansing of nervous system through regulation of prana (natural radiations).
In this context it is interesting to mention the result of a study conducted at California University . It was found that application of pulsed radiations on the mouse caused increased secretion of dopamine in their brain. In a study conducted in collaboration with Madras Institute of magnetobiology, it was found that when patients with Parkinson's disease lie in a cot fitted with solenoid, emitting radiations, the tremor was reduced considerably (ref: Dr. S. Krishnan, Mathrubhumi Arogya Masika-July 97). Meditation also shall be beneficial for these persons, because the increased absorption of background radiations or prana at the time of meditation will be having the same effect on the brain.
Deep brain stimulation and Vagus nerve stimulation may shift the center of operation in the motor area to some other parts of brain. This process shall become instrumental in the reduction or termination of tremor. Meditation and regulation of prana also can be used for shifting the center of operation and stimulation, which shall give relief to the patient.
These patients shall get some relief from tremor, if they keep themselves in places where the presence of background -atmospheric - radiations is low. The ceiling and walls of the rooms where they spend the day time should be paneled with suitable materials for this purpose.
