STUDY BY W.H.O ON EFFICIENCY AND SAFETY OF THE PENTAVALENT -GENUINE OR NOT ?

          These observations are based on a report appeared at the Kerala Kaumudi( dt.September 25, 2015), malayalam news paper published from Trivandrum, Capital city of Kerala. The report says that World Health Organisation has conducted a study on the efficiency and safety of pentavalent .It is stated that the study was conducted by three physicians from India. It is reported that this vaccine is fully efficient and safe. Even though the ten subjects died at the study period (one and half year) among 25000 subjects studied.The lead of study team was done by Dr Raj Mohan, reported to be a pediatrician  and  National Consultant of  WHO 

          Some of my friends are doubtful about the genuineness of this study. A clarification from higher officials of WHO is expected. 

                        

EXPORT OF FOOD STUFFS OF DUBIOUS STANDARD FROM INDIA PROBABLE

 The High Court of Mumbai have given permission to NESLE company to export Maggie Noodles to foreign countries,  even though the marketing of the same product in India is prohibited  by Higher Courts as
Food Safety and Standard Authority of India had given recommendation for the same. It is quite funny that  the Attorney  of the Authority opined in the court that the company can export the product to foreign countries IF THE COMPANY is convinced that the noodles conform the food safety standard legally. This argument may become self defeating ,  because he is indirectly stating that FSSAI is NOT fully convinced that this product is unsafe.

          Further it is quite unethical action from Indian authorities,  if they alow this product to be exported

PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION OF YOGIC EXERCISES-- AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF YOGA

     Ancient Gurus of Yoga have ordered that yoga including yogic exercises should practiced only personally in clean private places. Because the whole nervous system in the body including CNS are involved in these practices. Demonstrating it in public places among the masses may become harmful to the body mind.

   The decision for the demonstration of mass yoga in the head quarter of  UNO is therefore not a wise one in my personal opinion

SUMMER SOLSTICE, VITAL RADIATIONS AND INTERNATIONAL DAY ON YOGA

        In this period of summer the northern hemisphere of earth receives maximum amount of solar radiations. There fore the living beings at this part get more vital radiations and mental energy. Diseases such as depression reduces.

        Polar bears get enough vital radiations and come out from long sleep. 

      Some important parts of yoga, viz, pranayama (regulation of vital radiation) and meditation have strong relation with solar radiations. Therefore the decision to celebrate international day on yoga in June 21st is quite expedient.
