Bald head is considered to be related to the male hormone testosterone alone. But this hormone is only a partial reason for this phenomenon. Another reason is the emission of radiations of particular wave lengths and intensity from the brain (absorbed by Filum terminale) passing through the skull. Various patterns of bald heads such as ‘U’ shaped ‘O’shaped etc result because it is through this ‘U’ shaped or ‘O’ shaped parts of brain radiations are emitted from brain.
